Is this website official?
No, this website is purely an unofficial non-profit fansite created by a fan for other English speaking fans who want to know more about Tatsuya.
Do you get paid to run this site?
No, Rising Dragon is completely non-profit. I have designed and maintained this site over the years purely under my own fandom for Tatsuya, and through other kind people contributing to it has it grown so big.
Do you know Tatsuya personally?
No, I have never met Tatsuya or seen him in person. I have had many emails from people who think I am Tatsuya - but this is not the case. I am merely a fan.
Can I link to your site?
Of course! There is information and buttons you can use in the Web section of the site. If you do link to me, please let me know about it and I can link you back!
Can I use your images?
You can if you write to me and ask permission first. I have seen alot of people direct/hot linking to my images over the internet, which has annoyed me alot. Please if you do get permission, remember to upload the images to your own site. If you would like to use the images for graphics you are going to make, please send them to me! I'd love to see them and put them on this site!
Can I use your videos?
You can if you write to me and ask permission first. There have been alot of people who direct link to the videos and given out the URLs as if they are their own. Who runs this website and why?
My name is Pan and I have run this website since September 2001. At first it was just a few pages of information about Tatsuya, but as I got more and more of a fan, I decided to expand it into a proper site. It used to be hosted on geocities, then pluh, and now on my own domain (PHKP.co.uk).
I first saw Tatsuya (like most fans from the west) in Battle Royale. I was blown away by his emotional portrayal of Shuya and needed to find out more about him. It was then I noticed there weren't many fansites dedicated to him, and none were in English - so I decided to create one. And the rest is what you see before you today!
